Starfish Gift Tag
Our wedding is all about the starfish, the beach, and aqua blue :) For our welcome bags I am going to make these gift tags to tie on the bags with a pretty ribbon. I found the template for the starfish on this great website, Craftideas.info. I just traced the starfish onto a piece of cardstock, cut it out, and punched a whole in the top for the ribbon. On their website they have fun coloring book pages you can print out too. There will be some little kids at the wedding so I think I will print some of the beachy coloring book pages to put in their welcome bags too!
Bridesmaids Dresses Delivered
I am so excited! My mom called me tonight to let me know that the bridesmaid dresses for my sister in law and my future sister in law were delivered to her today! We weren't expecting to receive them till about the first week in August or maybe a little sooner. Tomorrow I'll find out if my sister and my friend received their dresses too. Next weekend I go home for my final dress fitting so I'll get to see the bridesmaid dresses in person. Thread Design is amazing!

Wedding Welcome Bags
At the grocery store I saw starfish goldfish and was instantly inspired to create welcome bags for our guests. Since most of our guests will be visiting the Outer Banks for the first time I thought it would be nice to include travel guides. I emailed the Outer Banks Visitor Bureau and they were nice enough to send me a box with more than enough travel guides for all of our guests. Along with the starfish goldfish and travel guides we want to include bottles of water and some some salt water taffy to keep with our beachy theme.

Great Quote
Every day I get a quote emailed to me from Real Simple. I love today's quote!

Stamps
I've been looking for the perfect stamps for our invitations. My mom found a great palm tree stamp for me which inspired me to look on usps.com to see what other stamps I might find. There were so many great stamps to choose from. Here are some of my favorites:
Wedding Invitations
We are in the midst of our wedding invitations. I think this is probably one of the hardest decisions we've had to make! I've had my heart set on sending out these pretty boxed starfish invitations from the Paper Source. After some thought regarding the price I've reconsidered and found these simple invitations from Wedding Paper Divas in linen that I think will be perfect!
